How to disable preview autoplay from home tab? (lemmy.world)

As I'm scrolling the main feed the videos start to play in the thumbnail. These videos which have only played for a few seconds as I scroll past end up in my history, so it's messing up my suggestions.

Can this be disabled?

Go to Settings, General, Playback in feeds. Off 😊✌️
