They only build McMansions here in Northern California that start at 500K (but actually sell for 800K). Rent is 2K for a shit hole apartment. Doesn't take a study to know why its an issue here.

Because other states buy them bus tickets and send them here. Also because housing is insanely expensive because institutional investors
