Yeah, but only for new accounts. Otherwise, if you haven't receive the new promo, it's 1%... I know it's less of a darling than CASH.TO, but HISA.NE now offer 5.48% gross - 0.15% +tx fee.

Tangerine extends promotional interest rate offers to existing customers as well. As a long-standing customer myself, I recently benefited from 5.25% offer just last month.

Wow, awesome news. They already extended their previous offer to me (5%), but I haven't received anything to extend it this time, so let's hope I'm going to win the rate lottery.

Do Horizon ETFs typically increase their $CASH.TO distribution soon after a Bank of Canada rate increase? I’m curious if you’re familiar with the historical trend behind it.

Yes, they do. It sometimes happens very quickly within a few days, or it's sometimes a little longer. The increase may not always be equal to the increase in the BoC rate though. I've been using CASH.TO since February 2022.
