CPU Cooling problems: Just like 95C is normal for Ryzen, 100C is normal for Intel CPUs in many workloads. If you're worried about CPU temperatures, please look at reviews for the laptop or CPU cooler you're using.

Hello,

I'm going to buy one of these as an upgrade from a 12th gen. For 90% gaming usage which do you think would be a better way to go? There is only a $180.00 price difference between the two. I'm going to be pairing this with an MSI Z790 EDGE DDR4 motherboard with 4000 CL14 4x8 ram. I also currently already have a corsair 360 AIO. Does the 14900k have a better memory controller? I've also read that APO is only available currently on the 14900k? I'm not sure if that's accurate or not? Which one would you guys go with? Thx

14900K if you want to use your PC for multi-purpose

14700k if you are just using it for gaming

If I'm reading between the lines, you're implying that the 14900K has better performance on non-gaming apps but if you're just gaming, the performance is negligible?
