Given the vitriol this show generated amongst the fanbase, I am frankly astounded that it was renewed.

The distain that the producers have for the source material drives them on
You're talking about the Witcher
We enjoyed it. I'm not a die hard Halo fan. i enjoyed the games but the show was cool. I really enjoyed the doctor and I'm glad the casting isn't done from teenagers. I'm sick and tired of 18 year old super model being top doctor... Nah, you don't become a general of navy without spending years on the ladder either.
Not this shit again.
Damn, the art, the budget and the CGI are all there. It's just such a shame about the story. I honestly didn't expect them to renew the show for a second season.
I wouldnt watch this pos if you paid me.
How about if you paid them?
The first season looked great visually, but holy hell the story was terrible. Honestly surprised it was renewed.
Im scared...
But since I didnt complete S1 I will wait and listen what the community says about it.
I watched it all the way through since I'm a Halo fan, but I'll wait and see what people say about season 2. On its own, season 1 was...fine. I think if they didn't have any references to Halo and called it something else, basically left it intact but not Halo, people probably would have said it's okay. Not great, but okay. It definitely doesn't feel like Halo though, and so much of the show conflicts with established Halo lore.
