I'm interested in a specific art hobby as a beginner. How long do i sit on this idea researching it before I jump in? The cost is a small to medium concern; I am employed but would like to save. I'm also feeling loneliness, depression and anxiety and a hobby could help right? From my track record I am an impulse buyer. I also fall into deep depression where I don't do anything but sleep (which the hobby is to change).

Pros: Starting a new, fun hobby. Creating art. Possibly making merchandise that is of value.

Cons: Spending money while trying to save. Challenges that come from starting something that is not mandatory.

Worries: I won't act on it at all or I will act on it too soon and waste time and money.

I would really appreciate your kind input and questions to work this out. tysm
