Since we've all seen everton get deducted 10pts for 1 ffp charge, Man City should be deducted 115*10=1150pts Considering where city are right now (29pts), if somehow the fa becomes smart and gets the job done right now, then we can determine how far down in the league system (or non league!) will city end up.

Let's start off with bringing city firm to 0 points in the epl. 1150-29=1121 points left to be deducted. Now they're in championship. Since the max points you can get in championship is 138, city will be relegated 138 points to reach 0pts, meaning there are 1121-138=983pts more to deduct from city.

Now we're in League 1! Since the max points in l1 is 138 again, we'll deduct mcfc by 138 pts to reach 0pts in l1, meaning there are 983-138=845 pts left. In l2, max points are 138, so to reach 0 pts, we're deducting 138pts, meaning 707pts left.

National league: 138pts max, so 707-138=569 pts left.

National league north: 138pts max, so 569-138=431 left.

North pl prem div: 126pts max, so 431-126=305.

Npl d1 east: 114pts max so 305-114=191.

Nl d1: 114pts max so 191-114=77.

Nl d2: 126 pts max, so 77-77=0.

126-77=49pts in northern league division 2

That means man city would in first place in nld2, 4pts ahead of Blyth town.

Along with the title stripping, this would be the proper punishment for Man City.

this is only logical if the severity of 115 fc's rulebreaking is the same as everton's, when it obviously is orders of magnitude worse

time to delve deeper into the pyramid, they'll be playing against my five a side team if there's any justice in the world

I would love to see City players get two footed above the knee by 40 year old Big Tony supercharged on EuroShopper Energy Drink. Only for Ref who didn't see it to wave play on.

The upside is that teams in the NLD2 are easy to beat, so Man United might have a chance against City for a change.

I'm glad someone did the math on this

Taking titles away is meaningless, you’ve already had the celebrations.

Also, City isn’t getting anything done to them.

FantasyBollocks that mate.

I'm ManUnited through and through and obviously I don't want City to do well but you cannot deny the players their success and for me, there is absolutely no way any title should be taken away from the players. The business-dealings of the club should not detract from the way they have played and dominated for the last few years.
I accept the argument that without the money/dealings they might not have had the players/ coaches etc to be as successful as they have been but it's not their fault their bosses (allegedly - for now) broke the rules.

The case against City especially is going to roll on and on and with the bottomless pit of money to defend themselves via appeals etc I wouldn't be surprised to see years before action is taken against them. I suspect a big points deduction, transfer bans and huge fines but I'd be surprised if they'll be relegated. All manageable IMO. They could have all their current PL points deducted and still get make a fist to get back in the top 4, although a title would be unlikely.

If there's an agenda here to enforce FFP, such a move could promote another European Super League-esque uprising if City and Chelski are done for FFP. If a microscope is taken to all PL clubs, as I'm sure it is, I would expect more and more clubs will be taken to task.

Football is the loser here. Big business will always look after itself.

Where did you get the 115 from?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago
