Okay so I have an unusual problem:

I have the reMarkable tablet 2 for two years now and everything worked perfectly fine so far (although there were some functions missing, but they're correcting them little by little as already discussed in this sub).

But three or four days ago there appeared a new message on the energy saving screen where the version or update messages were: "Please go fuck yourself". What is happening at the reMarkable IT section?

Is anyone else encountering this issue?

is your device password protected?

Someone might have gotten ssh access and put a new screen saver image onto the device.

Wait... Energy saving screen where the version or update messages are? Are you seeing this on the Wi-Fi Settings screen?
