MODERATORS

I think we all agree that the use of VAR and continued shocking decisions by the referees are incredibly frustrating and are negatively affecting the game but is it worse than the absolute drivel we have to listen to during every match from the Sky and TNT (BT) commentators?

IMO Ally McCoist is the only decent commentator at the moment but barely gets given a match. I don't mind Alan Smith or Dion Dublin but that is mainly because they aren't as bad as the rest. Jenas, Keown, Savage, Carragher, Neville, Hinchcliffe and the rest are unbearable.

"Yeah it was The Great British Bake Off, but you can't tell me Spurs didn't deserve to win that!"

Remember when Sky Sports had a decent Saturday crew? How times change

Media in general is worse. Media have always been clickbaity but now it has been worse because of high competition. Modern commentary is a part of the media and their job is to keep us hooked with their content. If there are no controversies, we move on to the next game.

The home team bias is insufferable with a load of the commentators. Get Jenas on a spurs game or Mcmanaman on a Liverpool game and you are in for a truly shit listening experience.

McManaman is just awful, so negative, regardless of the fixture.

VAR… premier league taking 5+ minutes to do something they can do in seconds in the CL with tight offsides, why?
