KBIN is not implementing promised improvements in moderation, federation, and fighting spam. I have given up on this platform, and I can't recommend anyone to put any effort into it any longer.

Our society doesn’t respect the bodily autonomy of our boys and men, and it doesn’t emphasize getting their consent. Yet we're demanding that they respect the bodily autonomy of others.

We need to end infant circumcision. Honestly, what a barbaric practice to surgically alter a child’s private parts for no real benefit. We also need to teach boys consent. We can do both.

One of those topics where I'm really struggling to comprehend why there's still a 'debate' around it.

oh, you should look into the history of how feminism banned it in the USA... and then left boys out.

Mindblowing how they can sit there and scream about how oppressed they are to people who have been systematically, sexistly, sexually mutilated as children in order to make them easier to use tools for the person screaming.

Be better. Respect others as you want to be respected. Don't lower yourself just because of some societal issues that haven't been fully resolved.

No it is not. This is a fucking moronic straw man argument to attack women's consent.

Just because something is hypocritical doesn’t mean it is wrong. Telling other nations to cut back CO2 emissions when we are the heaviest emitters is hypocritical but it’s still the right thing to say.

Hypocrisy is just hypocrisy. The real problem is when we let hypocrisy get in the way of doing the right thing.
