Hello, I recently purchased a motherboard (Z790 Apex White) along with a CPU, and encountered some unusual errors and instabilities involving the RAM and GPU (RAM couldn't go above 7600mhz because it wouldn't show an output ). Specifically, I experienced error codes 7F and 55. After reseating the CPU and inspecting it more closely, I discovered that it had a broken SMD on the bottom, similar to the one indicated in the circle. I'm trying to determine whether these symptoms are due to the broken SMD or if there could be other issues at play.

I want to send it to NorthridgeFix, but it's a pricey service, and I want to be sure that those issues were because of the broken smd.

P.S. I tried a 14900k, and everything works as expected on the motherboard. So definitely a CPU issue.

Probably not related but post a picture of the damage.

Does the 13900KS work with the ram at stock speeds?

Rma the cpu with intel. They will probably give you a 14900k as replacement.
