Who would have thought milk products that go bad quick in warm, are less popular in the warmer parts of the world
Funny thing is we use A LOT of butter in Spain, from pastries and stuff to toast with butter. Not so much as a substitute for oil (we do thicken sauces and stuff with it)
I'm not sure about that statement. In my experience, people in Spain does not use butter at all I their homes.
Well, I am Spanish, both me, my family, and most people I know (except vegetarians and vegans) use butter. We just do not use it as an oil equivalent most of the time. Maybe the south is different, though at least in Castilla y Leon, Galicia and Canarias this is true.
