Look it's great my friend loves his dog but posting 10+ photos a day of the dog on social media makes me think he might have issues.
some people might want to his dog pictures :)
they might not be able to have a dog and are living vicariously
Honestly there are better ways to do that - go volunteer at a shelter and offer to walk a homeless dog etc.
