The short answer is most Danes probably think of it as a smaller Spain of sorts. Sun, wine, football and the likes.
I've got good impressions of the country. I'm on a gymnastics team where we're all Danes and one portugese guy. He's pretty chill. I'd love to visit sometime, maybe in 2027 for the Gymnaestrada.

Keep in mind, Copenhagen has an average temperature of 8.9 °C, so anything above 20 is quickly veering into too hot for my cold-hardened skin.

Here in summer it's very common to have temperatures above 30º Celsius (:
