Hi everyone!

Me and my partner (Danish) have been living in The Netherlands for 7 years and want to move to Copenhagen next month. We have a flat and everything, we just need to figure out the easiest way to take our furniture with.

Is there any moving service you have had experience with or some renting company that you recommend?

Obviously there is an option to rent a van in Denmark, drive it down to NL, fill it up and drive it back, but I think for that hustle and price a one way rental (if possible) or an actual service is the same price and less hassle.

Any advice appreciated!

One-way rental doesn't exist for moving. You have to pay for their time getting the van back to Holland or You spending the time If you are driving yourself.

Probably the only solution would be to find someone moving the other way, which is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Actually, it doesn't need to specified for moving. I found europcar for example has a one way van rental from Belgium where you can leave the van in Denmark. Obviously it's more expensive in the sense that you have to pay for it to be transported back, but it would still make sense to just pay for that rather than go through the hassle of driving ourselves the same route twice.

Yeah I think needle in a haystack is putting it lightly.

Thanks anyway!
