Hi everyone,

I find myself at a crossroads. Due to circumstances beyond my control, pursuing a career in my original profession is currently not an option for me. I am eager to pivot and explore the world of trade careers, but I'm not sure where to start.

Could anyone here share insights or advice on the fastest path to getting started in a trade career? I'm particularly interested in courses or educational paths that are available in English. I'm looking for the most efficient way to get trained and certified in a new field. Any recommendations on specific trades that are in high demand, or programs that are known for their quality and speed, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help and support. I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and dive into a new chapter, just need a little direction on where to begin.

I took mine (carpenter) about ten years ago at Nextkbh.dk (called KTS) at the time. What tyoe of trade are you looking to persue? Traditional trades usually take 4 years but some specialized careers shouldn't need much besides on the job training (installers etc).
