me running lineageOS on a pixel 7a with almost no proprietary software, with the few proprietary apps heavily firewalled and/or restricted

No matter what you do the feds can spy on you, to escape this is actually quite simple though:

Step 2: make your own OS
Step 3: make your own Tor like browser
Step 4: connect to Lemmy
