601 Days Sober (lemmy.world)

I forgot to celebrate day 600 yesterday so it's 601 today. :)

Edit : what it’s done:

My tachycardia instantly stopped. My liver is healthy and functioning again. Sleep has greatly improved. 15 pounds lost without trying. Everyone says I look more alive. No more waking up in the morning grabbing my phone to see who and what I texted the night before. I can get my nails done every other week with the money I saved (and more, had to have been $250 a month at least) I am on fire at my job. That’s off the top of my head. 😁

Amazing, good for you! Care to share how it's helped, feeling better/healthier/happier?

Four months is an accomplishment!!! For me, Starting around 7-8 months is when it became “normal” not to think about it (besides the Checkin!)

The morning after detective work on the phone was some of the worst.
