WTF?! What's in the mind of those IDF soldiers? "oh look, thousands of hamas troops conveniently standing around in open space waiting to be shot"?
They don't really believe they're shooting at Hamas. They believe they're shooting at subhuman animals. This is the genocidal mindset.
There's a Twitter link here from the IDF. The comments show exactly what they are thinking "these are ants, look how funny it is that we killed 100 of them".

That's the thing; they are basically nazis. Zionists have the same goal as nazis of getting Jews out of Europe and weaponizing and exacerbating antisemitism for an imperialist agenda (here, that's colonialism and the destabilization of the middle-east).
It's a fascist colony built on the continued genocide and ethnic cleansing of the native Palestinians. It's inevitable that what you get is a similarly fascist population not unlike that of nazi Germany. Specially with half of the colony's population being military conscripts who directly carry out the genocide.
