Jesus Christ.... Air purifiers are connected to the internet now??? What's next? My fucking toilet paper holder?

A lot of devices are doing away with physical remotes in favour of a shitty cell phone app. It's cheaper, and they get the added benefit of selling the user data to have the necessary infrastructure pay for itself.
