So basically my fiancé want to study and eventually work as a nurse in Denmark. She doesn’t speak Danish yet, but is slowly learning. I live here and am a Danish citizen. We have been trying to figure out the correct way of doing this but it’s a little bit complicated, I was hoping someone here maybe had some experience on the subject?

You should talk to an immigration lawyer. A lot of things play into what options you have - what country she’s from (assuming non-eu), your visa/status, your ages, both of your willingness to marry, her willingness to work right away and postpone studying, her current education, maybe there’s even a chance she could begin her education where she currently lives and transfer etc etc

If all else fails, some people choose to live in malmo and work/spend their free time in Copenhagen. It’s not that far, and living costs in Sweden are lower. Sweden is still a lot more relaxed when it comes to immigration and after living a few years in an eu country it becomes easier to move to Denmark.
