I am wondering if it’s legal to create and operate an OF account in Denmark? So far the only information I could find is that it is okay to - as a Dane - subscribe to creators but I haven’t been able to find anything about creating one. Edit: I also want to ask if it’s frowned upon in Denmark to go that way?

If this question doesn’t belong here I do apologize and please just let me know and I’ll delete the post.

Interesting approcah.

Just for the heck of it: What constitutes good music? Infernal might not be Mozart, but how do you rate good music? Balkan and Jazz music is likely the most complex, does that count as good music? Is Dream Theater making good music? Is Tool? Is Bruno Mars good music? Or nationalisitc TV2?

What is the goal of music? If it's about making people happy and just enjoy the present is good music and go nuts at live concerts, then Infernal makes good music. Is bagpipe techno a good style or genre, probably not.

The top artist in Denmark is propably Gilli right now, is that good music? Does Taylor Swift make good music?

Ha ha, it's way easier to define what's not good music.

But objectively speaking, and I say this as a semi pro jazz musician, people should absolutely listen to whatever makes them happy. But i think it's somewhat possible to judge music on how much either emotional or harmonic information it contains. And its not necessarily a question about personal preferences.

I like, and play, Balkan music very much. But Tool doesn't really resonate with me. But I can still acknowledge, that Tool contains a lot of musical information.

I agree, that it's not easy to use an excact scale to measure good music. But most music is quite easy to judge. You can compare it to movies. A romantic comedy with Jennifer Aniston is not really a good movie, it doesn't really deliver any cinematographic information except the most rudimentary. While a Cohen brothers movie definitely is a better movie measured on the level of information.

And information is not only technical. It's also emotional. While Leonard Cohens music might be simple, it's very complex emotionally. Opposed to Infernal. They are very rudimentary emotional. Again, the emotions in a Jennifer Aniston movie aren't really that complex, deep or even authentic, as the emotions in a Cohen brothers movie.
