I am wondering if it’s legal to create and operate an OF account in Denmark? So far the only information I could find is that it is okay to - as a Dane - subscribe to creators but I haven’t been able to find anything about creating one. Edit: I also want to ask if it’s frowned upon in Denmark to go that way?

If this question doesn’t belong here I do apologize and please just let me know and I’ll delete the post.

The part where you "chat with the perfomer", a bunch of this, is to keep the client there, fake a connection or a bond. In a lot of cases it's hired people who pretend to be the performer.

That's the scam. And lets not act like the advertisement isn't made out to be you're getting more than just explicit content.

The part where someone do porn, or post nudes or whatever, and get paid for that, sure I'm down for that.

That's a fair point. I wasn't aware that chatting with the model/performer was part of the deal. From a business perspective, it makes total sense. From the customers' side, I hope that the majority are suspending their disbelief/buying into the fantasy, but there will always be someone that falls into a toxic parasocial relationship. I think making a comparison to phone sex operators probably isn't too far off. How to fix that I am not sure, but I dont think I'd go so far as calling it a scam

If the men aren't realizing they are buying their attention, I have a bridge to sell them.

Well, a lot of the time, it's not their attention they are buying.

If you want to sell me and bridge, and I believe you because you're a renowned bridge builder, but in fact, I'm talking to someone who just impersonate you, isn't that scamming?

So the person men are talking to on OF aren't the performers?

Not always. Their chat funtion on the page, of the performer is sometimes run by multiple other people, who just act like them. Much like if you write to a famous person and get a letter back, that might be someone else.

Or write to your national politician, most likely it's a PR person responding. Difference is, OF is selling that.

I haven't used it that much - interacting with the performers always struck me as fake because there's money involved in it. Same as other salesmen or waitstaff, they have to be nice, so I don't take it for granted.

If they can't see through that... there's this great bridge that I'm selling.
