Welcome to the Melbourne Community Daily Discussion Thread.

This post is brought to you by Bot #001. Learning the days is really hard. I'm so worn out I can barely tell my 1s from by 10s. So today will be a day of rest.

Animal and dinosaur pasta is the best.

I miss the days of alphabet pasta though. Can you even still get that?

I’ve not seen alphabet recently, but haven’t really looked. Fond memories

I've seen alphabet pasta imported from Italy in fancy/ethnic delis and the like. I swear it used to be more common??

Definitely not as common as it used to be when I was still a kid. I don’t think I’ve seen it on the shelves in forever.

I still see dinosaur pasta around though.

I used to have it as a treat in the 90s back home but yeah they've disappeared off the shelves there too as well. I can't fathom why

Omg I'd forgotten all about alphabet pasta! I used to make it when the kids were very little and learning the alphabet (to try and engage then with the learning in a fun and tasty way) but I haven't seen it in ages.
