Can you say that again? 100? Crazy

50 øre is 0,5 dkk or about 7 eurocent.
It costs 50 dkk to send a letter to Germany - so you will need 100 of them.

But they are 50 øre right?

They are. What difference does that make? Did you not think to check out the actual postage price before buying stamps, or why would you ever assume "3 of these 50 øre ones will do"?
Almost have to be trolling

No, didn't think to check because I'm from Germany for a few weeks working in DK and I expected that the store owner wouldn't scam me with poststamps.

How does mailing work in Germany? Do you not have to match the value of stamps to be equal to the value of postage? If the owner told you that you would need 1.50 DKK then you were scammed yes, otherwise I would say it's a fair mistake

A store sold you these? Yeah, he scammed you big time. Even as collectors stamps these aren't worth that much

I mean how many times and how many ways do you need people to tell you the exact same thing?

sorry, it's very confusing for a foreigner

Also, sorry for being snide. I was just starting to think you were trolling.
Where did you buy the stamps? And how much did you pay? Seems like someone found a way to cheat tourists..

Bought them at a souvenir store in Copenhagen for around 150 DKK. Didn't realize the amount at first because I'm used to Euro. But I should have, now I feel stupid.

Damn, you got robbed! You shouldn’t beat yourself up about it - it even says 50 on The stamp. Sounds like a place that preys on non-Danes not knowing.
Where was it? You should name and shame them.

I will try one more time:
To send a letter from Denmark you need to put stamps on the letter witg the correct amount of money.
To send a letter to Germany you need to put on stamps with a value of 50 kroner. You currently have stamps worth 1,50 kroner.
So you need to buy stamps for 48,50 more and put them on a letter to send it.
