But it sucks they cut the quote to make it sound like Ubisoft is telling people to stop wanting to own games (which they are, look at Steam’s and gamepass’s popularity)
The quote should say subscriptions like EA Play, Ubisoft +, and Gamepass will only be successful if people are comfortable not owning games
Right, why do you think they were having that conversation? They're executives. Their job is to increase profits. You do that as a video game publisher by transitioning to digital only, subscription based GaaS.
You do that as an executive as an argument to not transition to that
