Baby Boomers as a generational cohort are well on their way to completely dying off and generational antagonism is a tool of the capitalist class to turn the workers of different ages against one another. Be better than that. Make better memes.

Okay, it's not about that, but it is about why generational antagonism is stupid
Online I see this sort of rage bait all the time. In the real world everyone I talk to thinks there’s arseholes and good people in every age group. Stop feeding the media’s narratives. It’s what made reddit shit and it will ruin Lemmy too if we let it. Downvote it, move on. Too many bots and social media entities use it drive traffic and influence the online conversation that eventually ends up influencing the real world.
Literally how is this image rage bait? It's saying that even if previously generations were shitty to you, don't be shitty to the next one.
It assumes multiple entire generations of people were shitty and verbally abusive to their children on the basis of nothing more than being from a different generation.
Generational antagonism predates capitalism by about 2 thousand years (of our recorded history)
And it's always been a cudgel used by the powers that be to distract from the real sources of everyone else's problems. Funny how that works.
