Was going to go to a speed dating thing tonight, but am staying home to keep an eye on fluffy butt. Not too annoyed, just want her to feel better. Gave her some pain relief before and she's dozy so we'll see what happens.

That said, I have a question for you guys:

Do you find it hard to make meaningful friendships in Melbourne? It seems to cliquey here for some reason. I lived in Adelaide for about 6 years and everyone was super friendly and I made friends within 2 weeks of moving there.

I dunno if it's just me...

Probably not you. Melb can be cliquey. The universal friendship elixir seems to be sport, with music a close second. Maybe do some open mic nights and see what happens. The beauty of these is that ANY genre is usually acceptable if done well.

That's a good point. I mean I've got the music thing going for me. So yeah I'll give it a go ๐Ÿ™‚

I used to dance. I made friends quickly in Melbourne by getting into the local Salsa scene. In fact looking back, just about all the friendships I made in Melbourne were either people I worked with or danced with.

Oh yeah, Melbourne can definitely be cliquey.
