But my post was primarily contrasting Reddit from Lemmy, and Reddit doesn't have an influencer problem. I didn't say "we need more influencers," I said we need people to talk about their hobbies.
Oh, yeah, In that case, than yeah, I do agree. But it's hard to get them over here cuz people are usually hard on changes and learning new stuff. Plus, the history they have saved on reddit is huge. Not to mention they'd probably have to maintain their own instance here if their hobby requires a lot of storage for media. These are probably the main reasons why most hobby subs won't shift to the fediverse.
