The second part I can relate a lot. It feels like just for fucking once I should be the one that gets offended by any damn minuscule thing, and form long-standing negative memories and openly act irritated in my relationship with various people.

I do actively take part in what's being done or talked, I do get instructive, I do get grumpy, and as everyone else does. This is different than taking everything personal, taking offense in anything said or done, and accusing people instead of making constructive criticism or instructive approaches.
