A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

Update: As pointed out by Twitter user @videotechx, Rockstar actually spoke to releasing two “new iterations of previously-released titles” that are strictly ports or remastered titles (and not sequels) in Rockstar’s FY 2024, which is any time between March 2023 and March 2024.

God I am sick of remakes and remasters of all the same old shit.

Fair, but I guess RDR1 is currently locked to 7th Gen consoles. Would be nice to have native PC ports

Also fair and I hope that happens.

.....but I think they'll just add Ray Tracing to RDR2 and call it a "remaster".

I'm willing to bet more companies are going to do this kind of thing just to get some money coming in during longer dev cycles. Everyone memes Skyrim Special Super Edition Release but the reality is Skyrim has helped keep that studio in the black for a decade.

Rockstar is in the same boat with GTA and RDR. Do they even have any other games anymore?
