I was curious what the clock tower looked like since the article didn't have a picture.
It's... actually a bit ugly. But if it brings the locals happiness, de gustibus non disputandum est.

A new roof and a change in colour scheme could bring it up from ugly to rustic. Maybe even quaint or picturesque.
