Hey guys! I'm building an Intel-based PC for the first time. I'm struggling to choose a motherboard. Do I really need to go with a $150-200 motherboard? Can I get away with this one with out affecting performance? I'm not doing anything crazy. The CPU was a gift, so I'm building around it. I have built PCs in the past, but with Ryzen. I kinda feel the motherboard options are better with Ryzen. Thanks in advance!

I have a similar board for a 13600k, and with undervolting it is just about enough to run it full speed when gaming even with additional heatsinks on the VRMs, with the 13700k you'd have performance issues.

Go with a Z6-790 as others mentioned, deals can be found on them.
