PSA: Lemmy Explorer now supports proper linking for non-kbin federated Communities! (kbin.social)

You can now use Lemmy Explorer to easily look up Communities and generate kbin-friendly links!

  1. Go to https://lemmyverse.net/

  2. Click on "Communities" on top center

  3. Click on the house button on top right, and enter "kbin.social" as your instance (or any other kbin instance you may be using)

  4. Toggle switch below on for "Instance links use /m/" (yellow)

  5. Browse, search, and sort as you wish

  6. All links will be in the in the https://kbin.social/m/[email protected] format :)

Hey, thanks for the tip. If I click on one of the links, and go to, for example:
https://kbin.social/m/[email protected]

But it says "404 Not Found" what does that mean? Is it just lag, or are we defederated from them, or ...?

Yeah, I'm getting the same thing on some other communities.
