CPU Cooling problems: Just like 95C is normal for Ryzen, 100C is normal for Intel CPUs in many workloads. If you're worried about CPU temperatures, please look at reviews for the laptop or CPU cooler you're using.

I plan to work from home and also planning to buy a new laptop this month and this particular model was within my budget. I come from a laptop with i5 8th gen with Nvidia 930MX graphics. It's getting a bit sluggish knowing that I bought this like 6 years ago. I wonder if I could feel major performance improvements if I buy the new laptop i mentioned in the title. Anyone's input would be of great help. Thanks! :)

Google says i7-12700H has Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 96EU GPU.

You can see some tests of this GPU here. Looks like games like LoL, Dota 2, Valorant, Warframe, CS GO, GTA 5 work fine, but most AAA game will struggle to even reach 30 FPS.
