In the UK. I mean brands like Belkin, Anker and UGreen. I've had three of these types of cables from cheap Chinese brands on Amazon fail over the last 3 years and I wanted to get a better quality one.

But these brands do not make this type of cable, and large chain stores with a high street presence don't sell any. So is there a technical reason?

Anker and Belkin have one similar one but their plastic attachments do not look durable at all, so I prefer the above design. These attachments look like they could snap off super easily therefore I saw little point in shelling out extra for them. But maybe there is something else better about this design?
