Home automation is the residential extension of building automation.

It is automation of the home, housework or household activity.

Home automation may include centralized control of lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), appliances, security locks of gates and doors and other systems, to provide improved convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security.

Does anybody have any recommendations of products they would use to monitor temperatures in various rooms of a home?

In the short term, I would like at the minimum a good dashboard that can show the temperatures in various rooms.

In the long term, I want to investigate implementing some sort of statistics, analytics, or AI that would provide insight into various trends and temperature history.

I use ESP-32-vroom's and DH22 temp/humidity sensors paired with home assistant which gives you a dashboard.

It's overcomplicated if you have never messed with these devices. So I'm sure there is something better that's plug play if that is what you are after.

If gives me stats where I can see trends and such.
