I recently found a Poweredge R730 on ebay for $450 USD.

Here are the specs: 2x Xeon E5-2699 V3 256 GB DDR4 Ram 2x 1.8 TB HDD

Is this a good deal?

Got this a few weeks ago. Seller offered it for $180 after I asked what size DIMMs it has.

Upgraded the CPUs to E5-2690v4 for $45.

Checking today and your find seems to be one of the better deals right now. I'm not sure if what I got was a fluke but maybe some sellers are willing to drop prices on these from time to time.
