Half time, Sevilla 1-0 up at the moment. Even in spite of a rough start due to PSV´s speed, they have managed to adapt to their pace by leaving more people around the midfield than in the first 10 minutes or so where the midfield was more forward than now. If they keep this up, they might just be able to avoid PSV using their speed to create dangerous shots a lot even if they will still happen. So not bad from them.

As for PSV, even if it might sound odd, i feel they might just need to switch to passes through lines or just short passing it till they can do the line breaking passes, it´s that what they tried at first is just not being effective at the moment in a consistent manner that you could say "oh yes they will get the 2 goals needed from the speed tactic" imo. Meanwhile with shorter passes or passes between lines, they could exploit Sevilla having more players on the midfield by trying to move them just enough via short passes for the line breaker ones and from there increase the shot frequency, if that makes sense. Other than that, i don´t see them getting more than 1 goal with how Sevilla have been playing once they adapted to what PSV was trying.
