Because those are individual movies, individual movies failing isnt that unusual. Marvels is just another failed movie in a series of failing movies/series. It is indicative of a trajectory, a more interesting story to write about.

I've heard more people shitting on the last Ant Man movie, than the Marvels one. I think people just dont care about marvel movies anymore and most people expected Marvels to be mediocre/bad, so it flew under the radar more than Ant Man.

I dont know how Killers of the Flower Moon had 200mil budget, was it just acting salaries?

Also according to wikipedia, Marvels had a 275mil(gross)/220mil(net) budget, while Napoleon had 130-200mil. And if Napoleon had 130mil and Marvels had 275mil, the expectations are different. Especially if advertising budget isnt included in that and it is doubling the final budget(550mil vs 260mil).
