A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

With the winter season coming up, I am looking for really good gloves I can wear outside when shooting. I live in a very cold area, and my fingers freeze within minutes of being outside, so I need very warm, but not bulky gloves so I can easily operate my camera. Any recommendations? TIA! :)

I'm going with a 3 layer system.
1 large outer mitten shell - really anything waterproof with finger access.
2 basic gloves - pgytech winter gloves.
3 thin liner gloves - something comfy and electronic touch.

The idea is that if you need all 3 to stay warm you can and still have touch screen or go down to your base layer for dexterity. But then based on the weather you can set up to either 1, 2, 3, 1/3, 2/3, 1/2/3.
