CPU Cooling problems: Just like 95C is normal for Ryzen, 100C is normal for Intel CPUs in many workloads. If you're worried about CPU temperatures, please look at reviews for the laptop or CPU cooler you're using.

This is my old computer I am building new one but I feel like I still can upgrade this desktop to the maximum potential. Right now it has i5 3470 GPU GTX 660 Ti
Power 700 W

So I am looking to buy new mainboard Ram SSD (if still capable) if not then HDD And new CPU

So what do you guys think which highest intel that I can go up to?

i7-4790k is the highest drop-in replacement for the board after you do a bios update first.

That being said, it's a pure waste of money. Don't do it.

Also, to answer the question from the title: The highest Intel CPU that can pair with a GTX 660 Ti is the Intel Xeon Platinum 8480+. And on the mainstream-desktop it would be the Intel Core i9-14900K.
