Home automation is the residential extension of building automation.

It is automation of the home, housework or household activity.

Home automation may include centralized control of lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), appliances, security locks of gates and doors and other systems, to provide improved convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security.

Wrote up converting ESP8266/Athom RGBW bulbs flashed with Tasmota to WLED... Looking for feedback (alien.top)

I'm pretty stoked on these bulbs, but was bummed to see that I had ordered the Tasmota flashed versions instead of the WLED.

I ran into some walls trying to flash them, and documented the bits and pieces I found across a half dozen reddit posts to get the conversion process to work.

This should work on any Tasmota flashed light bulb that has atleast 2mb of memory.

Wanted to post this here incase anybody scouring search results needs help converting their Athom Tasmota 7W Color Bulb or Tasmota 15W Color Bulb

Looks good, I'm actually looking for the opposite since these bulbs won't work directly in home assistant with the CCT. Have you tried reversing the process?
