https://amzn.to/47AJmOg its only gen 3 speeds but still something like this cost an arm and a leg when i bought one for my desktop. And apparently gen 3 is better for battery life anyway.

RAM too. not really applicable here, but Crucial desktop RAM was on sale, 2x16 5600 MHz for only like $68 yesterday. that's like half of what I paid for much worse RAM two years ago

Yup that's the kit I bought. I wonder why only crucial prices are going down and not the other competitors.

Such a popular price that the 32GB kit is now sold out everywhere in the US (including the Crucial site)

Thank god i was able to snag that deal. Helps that Crucial (Micron) makes its own chips. They remove the middleman (Module makers like GSkill and Kingston) and pass the lower cost to consumers.

No no no this is trash m.2 Storage very slow and very inefficient apple uses i-storage the most state-of-the-art computer hardware ever. They're generous to even give us the opportunity to use it.
