Home automation is the residential extension of building automation.

It is automation of the home, housework or household activity.

Home automation may include centralized control of lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), appliances, security locks of gates and doors and other systems, to provide improved convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security.

Greetings Community,

I recently acquired a Eufy robot vacuum and seek insights from those with firsthand experience:

Impressions on the Eufy's performance – any noteworthy observations?
While it claims Alexa compatibility, I am interested in its compatibility with other home assistant systems.
Seeking best practices for integration, particularly contemplating linking it to my 'leaving home' routine.
Can the Eufy handle navigating multiple floors if I move it up or down stairs? or is its functionality confined to a single level?

amazing! so glad to hear it! This is the one I bought "BoostIQ RoboVac 15C MAX, Wi-Fi Connected Robot Vacuum Cleaner". I'm not sure if that's similar to your model. I don't mind if it bumps around.

have you used it with any alexa routines? - I was thinking of setting it up on my goodbye routine so that it would run whenever we leave the house.

I live in a small townhouse with 3 floors, each floor is quite small but I was hoping to set it loose on the upper floor every so-often. If this is one that maps out the floor plan maybe it will have a button to re-map, or change floors its on... I guess I'll find out
