Is it just me, or is tweeting about upcoming litigation just incredibly stupid… on both sides.
It’s just legal fodder for the lawyers / judge.
Think of it as a legal tactic. When you've got them dead to rights, publicly turning the screws will pressure Casetify to quickly settle, which is what will end up happening. Don't be surprised if Casetify writes a check and this quietly goes away.
didnt dbrand say/write that they are not interested in a silent settlement beforehand?
But you would say that to get a bigger pay check
Settlements don't have to be silent, it could include requirements that Casetify apologizes publicly or admits wrongdoing or something.
