Data Hoarder

We are digital librarians. Among us are represented the various reasons to keep data -- legal requirements, competitive requirements, uncertainty of permanence of cloud services, distaste for transmitting your data externally (e.g. government or corporate espionage), cultural and familial archivists, internet collapse preppers, and people who do it themselves so they're sure it's done right. Everyone has their reasons for curating the data they have decided to keep (either forever or For A Damn Long Time (tm) ). Along the way we have sought out like-minded individuals to exchange strategies, war stories, and cautionary tales of failures.

Probably not the ideal place to ask but I plan to archive (hoard) them so I thought I would ask here. I want to buy the FLAC files for a specific artists music but I haven't been able to find the right place to buy them. I checked bandcamp and they only have the FLACs for their music up to 2017. I planned to buy the CD and rip the FLACs off of them but they don't sell CD for most of their albums any more. Any other places I can find them?

No luck but I don’t really like the idea of a subscription model.

They have a Download Store as well as a streaming service. You can definitely buy and download DRM-free FLACs from them.

You can buy individual files or albums without a subscription.
