Happy retirement Cesc!

I assumed we'd have an "older" fanbase here (at least initially) because the ones using RIF or Apollo have been on the site for a longer period. As such I wouldn't be surprised to see a stronger dislike for Cesc here considering we actually were around when he fucked off.

Anyways for the sake of representation, fuck Cesc lol

I mean that's always gonna leave a bitter taste but there's no need to be butthurt about it when he's retiring. It's not like it was RvP going directly to a direct rival

We can each personally decide what to be butthurt about. To me there's no difference between Ashley or Cesc, or RVP or Cesc. They're all the same. And most importantly, none of them deserve to be associated with the club or have a route back here.

That's fair. I personally don't think it's worth holding that kinda grudge, but it's your prerogative.

Also for me there's a difference between going to your boyhood club after being courted for years and going to a direct rival for money or other reasons. I think Wenger was right to not take him back, but he is still a good player and I wouldn't mind if he becomes a good coach to have him helping out sometimes. Much less ill will to him imo.
