I’ve just been given a lovely 15U server rack that I will be putting under my desk in the near future. I was thinking about putting my game consoles in it with my network switch, some smart home hubs and my optiplex mini.

Is there anything I need to buy to use the cabinet?

I’ve never had one before so I’m assuming if I just buy the shelves I can just put the consoles on them that way?

I’m definitely looking at getting one of the power strips just to make things easier cable wise. Also In the uk where is the best place to source the shelves, power strips, etc?

What power strip? Kenable sell individually switched ones for around £35, pulse is the brand. I just bought 3 of them.
