I'm a chunky monkey lady with thunder thighs and am sick of shredding the thighs of my jeans. Does anyone have suggestions for good jeans that don't fall apart too quickly?
I've thought about iron on patches (or in jean colours), before to provide a bit of a buffer and prevent the jeans rubbing directly, but haven't tried it yet.
I use patches sewn on the inside when they wear, but it is a bit of a pain sewing it as it's a hard location for the sewing machine to reach. The stitching provides extra reinforcement too, and when sewn in matching thread it is not really visible.
A post about it here
Agree with this - I've used this method in the past & helps to extend the life of jeans for a bit.
My jeans also wear out thanks to thighs rubbing together. It’s stupid. No decent suggestions, just also feel your pain.
Me too. I can rule out any basics from justjeans, h&m and Uniqlo. Do. Not. Last. At. All.

I have no trouble with City chic, but I think their smallest is a 12.
